I'm really confused on how to defeat the night fury without him/her killing me with the dash and pounce moves. Please help :(

I use Night Mare using these moves:
I use pierce
Then intense heat
And at last fire splash
I USE NIGHT MARE THESE MOVES:
1-pierce
2-intense heat
3-fire splash
