Question for Hotel Dusk: Room 215

I am on chapter 4 and I have put the red box, cash and room key 217 into the suit case, but I keep getting kicked out of the hotel, what else do I need to get rid off and where

This happened to me to. You have to put the memo in your suitcase as well. And did youu put the crowbar, pliers and screwdriver back in the toolbox that you got them from? You get kicked out for having those as well.
