First you must make sure that you have completed the task with the fountain pen that Louie gave you in the restaraunt. You have to go to the kitchen and find a bag of flour that has been ripped. You then use the flour by rubbing it on the fountain pen and then tapping it off to read the inscription. Only then will it allow you to search the box. After completing, you will be able to go back and click on the box in your room. It will have arrows for you to click that will allow you to tilt the box in different directions and finally make the bookmark visible. Hope this helps.
