how do you get the computer working in the basement in chapter 1

I am in chptr 10 and I avent got a clue how to get the pencil lead grinded into powder etc......basically how do I get the computer working?? I have the hammer and the pencil but how do you get the connection points lubricated with the pencil lead?? First of all I still only have the pencil and hamer and I don't know how to grind it or anything!! Please help??!!.........=]

Ok, what you do is next to the computer is a drawer, look in the first drawer and you'll find a letter you read then you take it. Then in the second drawer you c a file then you use you're pencil and you get that powder.
Then you go behind the computer to the socket then you use the powder and the computer works. You're also ment to go to the shelfs and get some book. If you hav a black light, you can use that to read the number on the white piece of paper.
Then you use the letter for the computer, input the strange code at the end of the letter and on the side you input you're number that was on the paper.
(also, if you don't hav the black light, just tilt you're ds up or down then you'll c the number.
