Question for Harvest Moon DS Cute

I triggered the random event 'Nina's keepsake' where Galen is supposed to give me a stocking that Nina had made before she died. But then Galen said he couldn't find it. What do I do now and how do I get the stocking?

First, you should make sure it isn't in your house already, because they do just put it there without a warning after triggering the event. If it isn't there, then make sure Galen is at 200 FP or more and try to trigger the event again, but it should be in your house.
