Question for Harvest Moon DS Cute

I went on the internet to celia's websight and I did the black heart event,but now I'm trying to do the purple heart event and it wont work and I followed all th steps! Why isn't it working:(

Before you can do the purple heart event, first you have to get celia to a purple heart. The black heart on celia will turn to purple when you increase her affection enough. Increase her affection by giving her gifts she likes. Same folows for the other heart events, you have to make sure her heart is the same color the event calls for. Smile
