Hi I just bought this game and I was wondering when/where I can get a horse and can someone tell me where/how to unlock the mines thanks!

To get the horse you need to ship 1,000 of an item. Takakura brings it the next day.

For the first mine you need to have your hammer equipped, then got to the excavation site at about 10pm. You should view a cut scene with Carter where you open up the first mine. For the second mine you need to travel to the bottom of the first and defeat the dark chick at the bottom. Then do the same thing for the event with Carter to unlock the second mine.

I think this is right. Hope it helps.
