Question for Harvest Moon DS

I am very new to this game and this site. I was wondering were I get the fishing rod, milker and shears. And also I need to know how to get to all the different floors in the mine.

U get the milker and shears from the blacksmith and if you go to Galens at 11:00 AM with no tool equiped when U see Nina and Galen go in the house (they both need to be in the house.) go in and U will see a cut seen and Galen will give you the rod. If this dosn't happen go out and wait to 12:00 AM and go back in. PS you need to talk to then about 2 times.
