How and where do I get the fishing rod and does the 100,000,000 g glitch really work??? Thanks in advance!!!!

You get the fishing rod on a Clear Saturday. Visit that old person's house during 10am to 12n.

If you visit Galen at his house on a spring Saturday from about 11:00 through 1:00. Yes the glitch does work.
