Question for Harvest Moon DS

I have a question.......Im tring to get ore to upgrade but theres no ore in the mines and when I try to get lower theres no latter or holes when i hoe to go down a lvl. What do I do?

I don't know the exact times, but go to the mine with your hammer equipped sometime when Flora isn't there and Carter is, and Carter SHOULD ask you to use your hammer in the upper left hand corner of the mine (this doesn't work when you try it without Carter) I did this a while ago and it worked, but I forgot the times. There's a General Walkthrough in the Walkthrough section, you could try there.

You have to go to the dig site and go to the back right corner and there will be a hole in the wall. Make sure that it is night time and you will unlock a mine.

To unlock a real mine go into the site after 10 pm on a sunny day have your hammer on you.

Well...
Maybe you're not digging in the mines. You're probably digging in the dig site.
To unlock the mines you have to go to the dig site on a sunny day between 10:00-12:00PM with your hammer equipped.

you could also do it in the mornin around 7 ama or 8 and u should make sure ur hammer is upgrade
