First, I was wondering what you have to do to break the rocks by goddess pond (the big oversized ones) I have aquired the legendary sword but it won't do anything and that's what I thought did the trick.
Also, how long does it take for your wife to get pregnant? Is there anything I have to do? I'm married to Celia if that's relevant.

You have to get your hammer upgraded to Mystrile. And you have to have ten hearts for your wife. You have to keep them at ten for 2 seasons.
Equip the sword, stand in front of the rock then press the A button.
It doesn't matter who you're married to. After you're married, keep her heart in red for 30 days by talking to her twice a day.when you wake up one morning she will feel sick. When you take her to the doctors she will be told she is pregnant. After 60 days she will give birth.
