I have had my live stock for many many years on harvest moon, and now they are slowly starting to die of old age. However, when they do die muffy's heart goes down by 10!!!! How can I stop this?

You could look at the farm asset page(the calender and pencil looking thing) and look at what year you bought them. Then ( I don't know the exact age they die)but after about two to three years sell them and get new animals.
Sell them about a year before they die. If it had a baby, then there's not much need of buying a new one enless the baby's close to dyeing.
