How do you get a kitchen?

Hiya guys.
I have been playing this game for some time now and I'm still trying to get a kitchen.
I've extended my house. My friend at school said to shop at the supermarket for 10 days, and not to worry about days off.
I've tried that twice now and shopped for 10 days but still nothings happend.

Am I doing something wrong?

Well your friend is wrong. You shop at the super market for ten days to get channel 2. If you already have channel two keep checking the channel everyday. Eventually the kitchen will appear. Make sure you have enough money because the item will disapear in about two days.

This website has helped me a lot on harvest moon. I've been playing it for 6 years since I was 6 and I forgot how to do everything because I just started again. Thanks!

You need to shop at the supermarket for ten days to get the shopping Channel. Once you have that, you need to buy the items there (you can't get korobs) untill you get the kitchen. After 2-3 days it will be there. Make sure that none of your pets are inside otherwise they might get trapped.

Keep checking back weekly at channel 2 and see if the kitchen is in stock.

PLEASE BELIVE ME!

To get a kitchen you shop at the shopping mall for 19 days to get venus sprite and his tv shopping channal. Get gotz to extend your house. Then, keep waiting and watch tv shopping every day until the kitchen appears. You wont be able to cook unless you buy the tools for it on tv shopping. Then, you will be able to enter gorumets cooking festival.

Hi by the way I have played it for two months got one upgrade and have bought a kitchen.
You do this by going tothe phone and going to the builder(forgot name) then click upgrade house! That should take two or three days. After that go onto channel two and keep on going on there. One time it comes up with a kitchen. Go to the phone and then click TV shopping and you then pay for it. This takes time so do be patience but go onto channel two every day thanks x
