Where do you go to get ores? Is it the mine beside the tent(right side).. Because if it is, I've tilled the whole place and all I've found where the lotion, earrings, necklace, etc.. No ores! Help please! I really want to upgrade my tools! Thanks. =]

Believe it or not, you're in the right place, but you need to OPEN the mine along the back wall. There will be 4 when you're all done.
Go to Carter's tent after hours (9-11pm or so) and he will show you how to open the mine. That's where you will find all of the ores.
Go to the mines at night, after Carter and Flora have left, and Carter will ask you if you have your hammer with you, so have your hammer. This will open the first mine.
