Question for Harvest Moon DS

Thank you, tiger4will, for your answer but when I try to carry my chicken off of my land I get a message to say chickens do not leave the farm. With ref: to the other answer I had if my land is the superfield why did the glitch say when the chickens are in the superfield you do not have to worry about them unless you want to pet them. Whenever I keep chickens they are always getting sick!!The solution is to stick with cows and sheep I suppose.

Well, that's why I said I had never heard of that before. The superfield behind the waterfall is just for crops.
Chickens get sick just like other animals... But they are easier to take care of. Pet and feed only.
IF you put your chickens outside on your own farm, you don't have to feed them. They eat whatever is on the ground. Don't put them out in bad weather, and I keep mine in during winter as well. I suggest building a fence as well. Makes it much easier to bring them back in at night!

I've had my ducks and chickens for 2 seasons! But they haven't gotten sick once!

Maybe your game has a glitch if your chickens keep getting sick, or you're not taking care of them
