I know it's at the very beggining of the game but how do you search for rons badge

Ok go all the way to the top of the stairs and one should be there..once you have that one you have to find another one but just one more
Go downstairs until you reach a sort of boot next to a door near the stairs to get to the room..
U should see a passageway and the badge should be there..it's red
