Hi, I am stuck at Gringotts I can't distract the dragon or free it from it's chains.HELP!!!

You distract the dragon by running up to your buddy and he will start clanging a clanger to startle the dragon. At that time rocks will fall, grab a rock with your wand and walk over and throw it at the dragons head. Do that until he gives up and his life hearts are used up.
When the puller brakes you go behind it the shoot stupyf up in the area to distract it shoot is close to it
