How do I get out of the room of requirement when the balls of fire come at me - what am I meant to do?

You have to run after Goyle (the guy in the room with Harry) and shoot spells at him. When he put that fire ring on the ground, run behind a corner. It will launch a fire phoenix in all directions. Just keep repeating until all of Goyle's hearts are gone.
Patience pays off here. Stay at the front and track Hoyle from side to side, hiding behind the pillars when he shoots fire. If you stay at the front, you don't get hurt and when he runs down the left hand side to the front you get several shots at him. Keep doing this over and over; it will take quite a while but it works.
