How do you get past the part where you're fighting the snakes that are made outta fire?

Just stay at the row were you are.(thats what I did)
Goyle(?)sends the snakes at you.
You have to avoid them.
Press the L or are-button on the NDS.(multy shot)
You hae to use this spell on Goyle to kill him.
