I'm on the bit were ron and harry have got to destroy the horcrux and i'v got passed the three headed monster but I can't get passed riddle and what dose the red line thing do?

To get past riddle all you have to do is keep hitting him with spells, but he will try to decrease your health with the green and red. Try to avoid getting hit, you can hide behind the walls on either the far left or right. If you keep hitting him you will eventually defeat him.
