You must first cure the Dream Tree. To do this, you must go on the second floor of the tree with the items shop in it, and talk to the woman on the second floor. She will ask you to help her save the Dream Tree. You must accept. Then after traveling the Phantasmal Bog (Which is where you are sent to save the Dream Tree.) you must use Hermes Water on the Dream Tree (If you do not have Hermes Water, head to Port Rago.). To use the Hermes Water, walk up to the "face" of the Dream Tree (inside the Dream Tree.), press "A", then select "Hermes Water" from the "Item screen." You will be greeted by a Djinn named "Pewter" and he will guide you through Komalia forest.
