You know how the little thought balloon with the three sequential dots appears above the hot springs egg guy while you're timing the egg? The seventh balloon, the second dot marks exactly 10 seconds. You have to get 10 on the nose at least once to complete this side mission; as your reward, you'll get a miraculous rock that time. Further exact times appears to net you dark fossils. Hope this helps. Good luck.
If it helps, use you're iPhone timer. I used it and I got nearer to perfect that I ever could before.
Ok so I just did it and you have to count 19 dots in the think bubble above him. Its tricky but you'll get very close if you do it that way.
When guy starts that little (...) speech bubble <--- Count that 7 times

(.. - PRESS A!
