How to get Gaun cause I can't find him?

That's what I did also-I snabbed my son's old DS (yeah, I caved and got him a 3DS for Christmas) and used my old FF game. The good part about this is for all the vivosaurs #1-100, you can also shoot over the rest of the body parts, something you won't find in FFC. I mean, come on! Shanshan as a super rare? I spent loads of time trying to find some of these guys, then went to Greenhorn Plain in the old game and bam! A level 9 ( I found a couple of red fossils) Shanshan. Try doing that in FFC! I think it's a little prod to get you to go and buy (if you don't already own) the old FF game. If you hang around these websites at all, this will not be the first time you'll hear folks suggesting you get fossils from the old game, nor will it be the last. I really liked the old FF, but having played FFC, it's painfully obvious that the tech has improved since the first release. If you get the old game specifically to help you out in FFC, be prepared for it to play a bit clunky. It was a lot of fun (else I'd not have gotten this one) but the better graphics and improved game play have kind of spoiled me for the old FF. Sorry to be so long winded, but I've been thinking about posting this for a while, wondering if anyone else felt similarly.
