First, Lugmos is a superevolver and when I tried to take one into battle, the game wouldn't let me enter the arena, just kept saying that all the vivosaurs must be Cretaceous era types. I got whomped several times until I got my vivosaurs ranked up high enough to stay alive long enough to kill the other team off.
If you go to the small yellow journal icon at the bottom right corner of your screen, tap it and your status screen will appear. Tap the small green square with the dino silhouette and a screen containing all the dino medals you currently own comes up. Between the row showing your current active team and the box containing your Dino medals are 4 tabs; tap the one that says Fossilary. This shows all your vivosaurs; for example if you have the regular and the evolved versions, like T-Rex and T-Rex Lord, they will all show up. At the bottom of this screen are tabs that allow you to choose how to organize your collection. Tap "era" and all the dinos will group by the era they were from. Sry, I can't remember if the Ribular uses Cretaceous or jurassic dinos. I had to play some of the tournament games several times before I fine tuned my team enough to win. Make sure your team's dinos are compatible so they can use team skills. Remember that the tournament opponents will all be using big (level 20) vivosaurs, but the AI usually waits several turns to amass a lot of FP. Try to have a Dino with power scale so you can keep stealing their FP, and a long range dino to reach even the farthest opponent and one with rallying cry to get rid of any effects your opponent may hit you with. If Nigo is in the right era, and you've ranked him up enough, I find him incredibly useful because of his substantial link attacks and a relatively cheap team skill. Hope this helps!
I recommend Krypto because of it's Krypto Virus which inflicts an infection that K.O's the foe after 5 turns
Ribular accepts carnivores, Cranial accepts Cretaceous, Ilium accepts Jurassic, by the way.
First Round: Use Fire-type vivosaurs only.
Minister Pomposa has Raja, Daspleto, and Acro, all Earth-type vivosaurs.
Second Round: Use Water-type vivosaurs only.
Rosie has Siamo, Smilo, and Andrarch, all Fire-type vivosaurs.
Third Round: Use Air-type vivosaurs only.
Rupert has Mapo, Shoni, and krona, all Water-type vivosaurs.
This isn't really required, but it should help! :-)
For ribular town I used only air types, it was relly hard the first round but I won the first time, the other two rounds were a stroll in the park though. I used tefla, v-raptor, and nycto ace
For the first round, use T-Rex Lord, Nychus, and S-Raptor. Nychus drops enemy AZ defense, and S-Raptor bumps up own AZ defense and accuracy. For the second round, use Mapo King, Cryo, and Krona. Cryo bumps up own AZ defense and accuracy, like S-Raptor, and Krona is a Long-Range vivosaur. For the last round, use Teffla, V-Ripper, and Nycto Ace, V-Ripper is a strong vivosaur, and Nycto Ace bumps up own AZ attack and accuracy. After that, you get the legs mask.
For the ribular town I used lv.20 mapo king(mapo),lv.20 kaishin(elasmo),and lv.20 krona. I used them for all 3 rounds because nobody used air-type vivosaurs.
