Date of Question: Dec 31 2008 | Question ID: 135657 I need help defeating Golbez at the Dwarven Castle. I can't use magic after Rydia comes to help, and I only have Cecil. He kills me before I can even revive the others to help. |
Try to get cecil to lv. 32 or so. When you fight Golbez,IMMEDITALY cast haste on cecil and if you were fast enogh, he'll be fast when Rydia comes. Revive Rosa ASAP and have her do NOTHING BUT CAST CURA. Have cecil cast Libra every turn. Then get Rydia to cast the spell of his weakness. If you are fast enough and lucky enogh, you'll beat him. He has about 15000 HP. And don't forget that Rydia does 3000 damage or so with the dragon so that leaves him with 12000 or so.You just need to be lucky!I hope this helped!

Don't forget to use ethers on rydia so she can keep going
But mostly have cecil focus on libra and healing with whoever else you decide to revive
