Question for Final Fantasy III

Ok, I know how to heal at wellsprings and junk, but what's the criteria? I figured if my people had job sickness I wouldn't be able to, so I got them over it and tried again, but it still wouldn't work. Is there a certain job that makes it so if one of my characters has that job, I can't use wellsprings?

My team consists of:

Warrior, Freelancer, Red Mage, and Black Mage

No, that is not how it works. Certain wellsprings have certain powers. Not all are healing wellsprings. If you walk up to one and it says NOTHING HAPPENS it means that you do not need what it has to offer.

Wellspring 1: restores HP and MP

Wellspring 2: REmoves status ailments such as poison, blind, or mini

Wellspring 3: Fully revives a KO'ed character

Any wellspring can do any of the above. If nothing happens you are not at the correct wellspring. I do not know where or what all the wellsprings do but I hope this helps.

Certain wellsprings have certain powers some heal and some revive and some will get rid of ailments like poison. It has nothing to do with a job, your just not at the right wellspring that you want.
