Question for Final Fantasy III

I am at the part where you have to shrink down to gnom size using the mini spell and go in the gnomish village.I had no problem with that but I can't find the village.I read a walkthrough and it said to wander around until you find it, well I have been wandering around for 4 HOURS now and can't seem to find it.please help! Is my game deffective?

Really now? No your game is not defective...but ALL character MUST be in mini form and then go look for the place...if that doesn't help I will post the exact patch of grass you have to walk into...sound good?

Your game is not defective, first of all make sure all member of party are shrunk (have mini spell cast upon them) and then go south from were the gnome that give you the mini spells is and if you pay attention the forest kind of looks like a J so go to the tip of the curve and walk around there it wont take you very long the find it (just stay in the forest if your wandering around outside of it it's just a waste of time)
