You have to talk to the gnome looking creature first by the three springs and then you have to go to menu press magic then go to equip and equip it to one person. Make sure they have their MP all the way up. You can do this by going to the top spring. Now go back to menu and press magic again. Click on one person and then click the the mini spell which is in white. Now when a little screen goes up just click on 'all of the group'. Now go back to the main screen and you should be mini.
