To get to the djinn get the wightslayer from the west tower of castle sasune. Be carefil because there are alot of strong monsters (mostly eye fangs and red wisps with over 50HP. Near to the top there will be two chests with holy arrow and wooden arrow in them. On the top floor there is a single treasure chest containing the Wightslayer (red sword with the power of light)and you will have to battle a griffin with over 100 health. Then you should be able to get through the sealed cave to the djinn.

To defeat the djinn level up alot and try to get the blizzard spell from castle sasune. Go up the 1st set of stairs in the main castle and look to the right there will be a crack on the wall. Walk through the crack and there will be two sets of stairs go up the stairs to get a pair of bronze bracers and a blizzard spell. To the left of the chest there will be a cracked wall. Go thrugh to find a bronze knuckles in a chest. Also search sealed cave to find an antartic wind this should help

What I do is use the duplicate item on the Antarctic wind when you get it in the very first cave you start the game in, they deal major damage especially for lower levels and they save MP. They also cost a bit so you can sell some after duplicating them to buy weapons and armour. When you have enough Antarctic wind, let all of your characters use it on the enemies to make them die faster. To duplicate an Antarctic wind, put it in the first item slot, go into a fight and go to items, press the Up D pad and A together, then B. You will then have 2 of them. Keep doing this to get more. Oh and the great thing is is that NO Action Replay is required!

If you want a warrior also, there is a Wightslayer from the Sasune Castle left tower.
