BEST JOBS !!

Well first off you might wanna use the White and Black Mages with two Warriors. As you progress within the game,start using Geomancers,Monks,Knights,and White Mage. Once you get real far,start using Dark Knight,Ninja,Magus,and Devout. Once you get to the farthest point,start using Onion Knights since they are the best job in the game.

The best job for starters is to use the jobs displayed in the intro movie. That is to make Luneth a Warrior, Arc a black mage, Refia a white mage, and Ingus a red mage. Later, you could improve them, but Ingus will be best off staying a Red mage through the whole game.

In the end have luneth as an onion knight ingus as a dragoon arc as a black belt and refia as a ninja

@Dragon. In the intro he's a freelancer, not warrior. In order of character as you get them, freelancer, black mage, white mage, red mage.
To answer the question however, I'd go Red mage, monk, white mage, and another red mage. At least for starting out. Warrior sucks, and black mage is good, but you can use all the lower spells as a red mage but with better armour and weapons so you don't use up your spells.
