I'm stuck in Saronia Castle.

Question asked by FionaB on
Last Modified:

I'm stuck in Saronia Castle.

I'm currently level 28 and I have cone to Soronia Castle. I'm having a lot of trouble defeating the boss. Can anyone advise me on the best possible way to do this.
My team's jobs are: Freelancer, Warrior, White mage and a Knight. They are all on a high job level, I don't know if that makes a difference or not.

Make your frelancer a dragoon and buy some spears and dragon aurmor (if you havent allready go to the top of the 2 towers there is some equipment there). In the battle use jump and get a black mage to use wind spells. I'm still stuck on it so tell me if you do it

I'm stuck too. I'll tell you guys when I beat it. Hopefully, by today

sanjuana89 answered:

Yay, I beat it!! I used all dragoon, all over level 10 and you just keep on jumping ^_^

Guest answered:

At that point you really shouldn't need Freelancer. I know that this boss is one of the cheapest in the game, but, if you have the team I'm suggesting, you might have an easier time fighting Garuda.

Dragoon - Front - 2 Wind Spears
Dragoon - Front - 2 Wind Spears
Monk - Front - Any kind of Fist Equipment
White Mage - Back - Anything

Make sure that both dragoons are over job level 20, it's a tad overleveled, however, it is much easier to defeat Garuda that way. Do two jumps, a retaliate, and a preemptive Cura. If anybody dies, don't waste time reviving them. If either of your two Dragoons die, you'll be in trouble. If you keep jumping, you'll win quickly.

Dude!you just need is to change all four luneth, arc, reftilia and ingus to become a dragoon and equip them all then just use jump on battle to garuda
