Question for Emily the Strange Strangerous

Ugh! I have three questions:
1.How to solve the Queens without Kings puzzle. The hints were all useless.
2. How to solve Orsino's second puzzle (The one after the dog puzzle.
2. How to solve the Filling Flasks puzzle. I'm not very good at math so I didn't really get it.....
So please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1. Keep the first queen in her square. Move the second queen down two squares from her starting spot. The third queen goes to the bottom square. The forth queen moves down one spot. The last queen moves down three spots.
2. You take the two matches that make the dog look in the direction he is and you move them into the box so it looks like he is turning his head.
3. Fill the middle from the left flask. Then fill the right from the middle. Empty the right into the left and then put the middle which has two in it into the right so it will have two. Fill the middle from the left then the right from the middle so four is left in the middle. Empty the right into the left and then the middle into the right so four is in the right. Fill the middle from the right then the left from the middle so in the middle there is six. Empty the right into the left and then the middle into the right so there is six in the right. Fill the middle from the left the fill the right from the middle so there is eight in the middle.
