To get to the schoolyard, you go back to the room that was too dark to go through, use Miles to find the light panel, go back through the door and tap the control panel next to the door. Go back through the door one more time, down the hallway, tap the final door, and you're there.
If you can't use miles it's probably because you don't have any cat treats. You need to go back to the fairground and win some. There is a portal behind a door next to the biology room. This takes you back to the clock.
