On the torches puzzle I have done what it says for the cheat but I cannot get the left hand corner torch to light up. Any ideas

I had trouble figuring this out and didn't think of going on the cheat. You should have a match in your inventory, you just hold this over the left hand side torches (or little round things) and they should light, then it's a matter of hopping over each other. Hope this helps.
