how do you beat the 2nd boss in lavasteam

It is easier to use the shooter on him, you can only attack when he attacks the platforms. Make sure to stand as close to him so the platforms don't block your shots.
The three times you beat him you'll be sucked into a specific body part zone in this order:
1st: Eye
2nd: Eye 2
3rd: Heart
Destroy all parts.
Then he's destroyed!
For the first eye use shooter
Second eye use the slinger
Heart bum boom on it
This is easy. When the robot smashes his fist on the rocks, attack them (I perfer A fully upgraded shooter). This can also be done when he mashes his fist into the screen. When he loses him health, he sucks you in. Complete the inside parts to find a turret. Do this 2 times. The 3rd suck has a mechanical heart. Destroy that and you win.
When defeating the eyes, make sure you dodge the heat-seeking missiles. A favourite trick of mine is to wait until when a lose a mini-life, then shoot. You are 'invincible' for the first few seconds after you lose a mini-life.
This eye thing is a total PAIN IN THE ASS. It’s basically impossible to defeat, nothing is working.

The eye is a royal pain in the ass, almost impossible to beat. You got the missile and the eye shooting at you at the same time or close to the same time. Just dodge the flames and the missile, I would recommend using a gun on the first eye.
