Question for Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies

I am trying to defeat corvus but I don't know if my partys good enough. I have
Minstrel lv44 , thief lv44 , priest lv43 and mage lv43 .

It is don't worry just get some more abilities for your minstrel and thief.

Its a pretty good team try to get skills on the thief and ministrel but beware after you beat corvus one time he transform in a mini vid and he becomes ALOT stronger and looks different

Priest - Priests are EXTREMELY helpful, and I don't think I could have beaten Corvus without Multiheal. (I think you already have it, but if not, level up once or twice more to get it; It's invaluable )

Mage - I honestly don't know much about mages, as I've never had used one, but looks fine I guess. Oomph is awesome, and I recomend you use it on the attackers, which bring us more or less to...

Thief - Not very useful against Corvus, or really any bosses IMO (even though Thiefs are really awesome). Another vocation I didn't use though, so I'm not positive

Minstrel - Hmm... I'm sorry, but Minstrels are just too weak this later in the game. But don't worry, I'll give you my advice, but first, here is the team I beat him with more or less

Armamentalist (me) - Sword level 46
Warrior - Sword level 45
Martial Artist - Claws level 47
Priest - Spear level 46

I had the best weapons and equipment I could find
(Uber Miracle blade for me, Inferno blade for warrior, Combustaclaws for my MA, and a Storm spear for my Priest).

So, I would recommend that you change yourself to a warrior if you can, (use Metal Slime/Metal Medlys and Liquid Metal Slimes to train) as that would seriously help you deal damage, but you can still PROBABLY beat him without that, but get the best weapons and equipment you can, and maybe level up a few levels more if you can.

I beat him with a minstrel lv 99,a warrior lv 30 and up, amartial artist lv 30 and up, and a priest lv 32 and up

Trust me they realy work as an awesome team

Have the warrior fight wisely the martial artist show no mercy and the priest focus on healing

I would recommend getting a warrior, gladiator, or ranger for your team
