Question for Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies

Ok.I'm stuck battling King Godwyn.I don't need help with the first form.Anyone can beat his first form.But it's his second form that has me hanging.I'm not desperate.I take all the time I need and I train with Liquid Metal Slimes.But I also need strategies.So anyone that has strategies.Please post it so that then,I can try it.

Ok well first you have to stop him casting spells or you have to be protected from attack spells cause he casts a lot of them. Then you need to cast buff because he does powerful attacks aswell them you need to bring you're atk up or godwyns def down the use you're most powerful moves on him but you need some spare mp to cast buff and sap again so he stays weak an you stey strong(tip-use a mix of magic vocations an powerful vocations to win)

Ok.Guys,first,I already beat King Godwyn.And all the bosses after him from the first try.They're really weak if you have Pshyche Up on you and an Martial Artist with Crushed Ice and Pshyche Up as well.Thanks for answering my question.And tgis comment was to say that anyone can posrt what they want in this page 'cause I already beat the game.And I'm on my way to the quest where you get Aquila in your party.Peace Out!

King godwin II is a formidable foe, but a warrior with sacred armor is a good way to go. If you can get around is spells you still ave to worry about his spear. Make sure you have a healer on hand. Mirror armor helps too.

Try to have mages as SUPPORTERS. He is super high in spell resisting also try to have a priest that has the multi heal (you can get that at lv 38)also don't forget strong melee people ( you should get a good gladiator) I haven't killed him yet but I have been fighting him for a year so I have experience also check out the data I got from another website: health: 3250
