I forgot to put, the higher your tamer level is, the more scan data you get.

I am a tamer legend in digimon world dawn, I have done that alot, I know that if you get in lots of battle and you can escape all w/o getting hurt, you got 999% scan data before you know it. Videogamer100 is exactly correct.
