How to go past the limit?

Like when your digimon reach a certain level they can't go any higher, well that's what mine did, but when I battled with one of my digimon I seen it leveled up another level. What makes a digimon be able to level up beyond their limit?

I think it has something to do with the Aptitude(?). I think that's it, I'm just not sure about the term. It's, like, the limit of your Angewomon is 65, and you want to have the limit higher. You can't make level up higher than the limit(That's why there's a limit) but you can raise the limit. Just degenerate then digivolve again. The aptitude of your digimon will go higher everytime you degenerate (I think). I've never tried it out for myself though.
Sorry I couldn't help much...

Guest answered:

You can raise the limit by degenerating and digivolving again.

Guest answered:

it is because aptitude means 'max level'
degenerating , though, raises aptitude

Guest answered:

buy a Good Farm of DNA that is well up the aptitude

Guest answered:

It's actually quite easy to see.............
when you talk to your NaviDigimon (Gatomon/Phascomon) about raising digimon, it states that.

Muddyy answered:

If you want a digimon that can digivolve into more then one digimon, and you want one that is a higher level then your aptitude, you can digivolve into one of the ones you have, then degenerate back into the original, and have a much higher aptitude then before. Or, like what the previous people said, you can degenerate the digimon into it's past form, but that only gives you a couple more Aptitude points, where if you did what I said first, it usually gives you over 10 more Aptitude then before.
