My team and help and what does spirit do?

Ok I'm on the quest to fight the gaia origin my team is

 Where should I train them and what level should they be for transfield against the gaia origin

I would train them in the transfield, any part of it is fine but you should at least have them all up past lv 40 and I reccomend they be lv 55 or higher with two stats 500 or higher and bring plenty of revives and repairs, you will need them. Good luck!

spirit is like this each time you spirit goes up by 1 your defense and you attack go up by .5 (which you cant keep track of i keep track by count if i have odd or even spirit) but theres a problem with spirit or so ive heard when you get to 500 spirit it turns into .25 of 1 attack and def stat im not sure about the last part ive only heard it from a friend though i gavent been able to find a way to check it

I say get your greymon to at least to a rise greymon level45 aand go for it but stock up on supplies

I did it with ravemon, shinegreymon and imperialdramon DB and they were level 60-75 and they had 350-500 stats

i did it with a Apollomon, Imperialdramon fm, wargreymon at level 75 stats 700-750 and bet them easy

What trainfreaks are in here? The gaia origin are quite easy: Dianamon lvl 62, Alphamon lvl 59 and Minervamon lvl 63 were enough to beat them...
The real thing to keep an eye on it is your equipment: raise defense and resistences against the team-members weakness, if you can survive the blow you can heal with your fastest digimon and deal some damage with the other two...

To the guest above me, only us pros with Dianamon in Digimon Dusk can do that (They have Dawn) I don't think Chronomon has heal xD
