Have to get far enough in the game to control them then raise your digimon so they digivolve from ultimate to mega

well first of all you need to digivolve an ultimate.

a gold tamer can make a digimon digivovle to mega

To see the requirement you will get the message when it is is good enough to digivolve into a mega Gen.
The message will come from veteran trainer.

Use a mega radar and hunt them in the wilds

You can not find a Mega Digimon in the wild you can only get them by leveling them up your self

Well
Mega is far better than ultimate
They need to be evolved they are the highest rank you can get..
I have 13 mega's I got good digimon and done all the food training and won the championship. Find a good digimon...
