Question for Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow

I'm stuck!!!!! I just beat the boss in the underwater place( forgot name ^_^) and I tried to get by the awning that hangs low above the spikes and I don't know what to do please help!!

You have to get the Bone Ark soul,or a combo soul of the Skeleton ape soul and the Puppet Master Soul.Use the Bone Ark soul to get you across the spikes.Equip the Skeleton Ape soul with the Puppet Master soul to throw the puppet over the spikes.Don't worry.The puppet won't bounce off the wall like the other walls do.Maybe you can get the Bat company soul to fly over the spikes.
