You will need to have your sound on for this to really work. Stand in front of Anella. Hold left until you hear three footsteps. Stop moving and then go up for two steps (listen for the sound of two steps), then go down for two steps and press A. If you did it right then a new cave entrance will appear. Using the animations of Sword as a way to tell how many steps you have taken doesn't really work as far as I know.
