Im stuck in the library and I am at the part where you have to beat the owl and your aang and you have to get to the rope. I need help getting past it and I can't beat the scary owl! Help

Look at the map and see where the owl is and go the other way his is going. If there is a pile of sand then find a different way to get to the stairs. If you do get hit by the owl then don't worry and try again. DON'T get frustrated.
