How do you get the spirits to like you?Like how do you activate a love event?

Watch this video it will help answer the love event question, and theres some info about them. All I know is you should use the one you want alot more and get him/her to their maz points. I think I read somewhere that it is 4,800 for the max points in chapter 7 and before, after that I think you can raise it to 5,000.

I found this info on Neoseeker. This should make it a little clearer.

"Startable starting Chapter 8, but you don't get all 4 spirits back until 11.
Get their CP to >3800 by summoning them (14 points per summon {turns into 4 if their affection for you is high}) or calling them (2 points per call), refill MP with Heal Pots is easiest, so go where there's a Heal Pot. Go back home and rest, until you unshackle all who's CP is >3800."
