You expand your house by paying off your debt to Tom Nook. You have to go to Town Hall and talk to Pelly (or Phyllis) on the side with the red floor mat with the envelope on it. There should be an option to pay your debt. After the debt is paid, go to Tom Nook and he will ask you what roof color you want, etc. Happy expanding!

You make your room bigger by paying bells to the Towm Hall. I am not sure what you mean by your second question. You go to The Town Hall to pay of your debt but you can't go anywhere except your town. I hope I could help.

By paying off your debt toward Tom Nook. You go to Town Hall and talk to Pelly or Phyllis. Choose Letter and select Pay Debt, or something like that.

You have to pay off your loan to Tom Nook. Initially you have to work for him until he has no more work for you, then you will have to find other means to obtain bells. You can pay off your loan in The Town Hall or post office.
