Question for Animal Crossing: Wild World
Some people are telling me to put bells in the bank and time travel to get intrest but does that really work. Is it just so you get loads of weeds?

I, for one, would never suggest time travel to anyone since it screws up many things (not just your game!!) Your interest just isn't THAT much to warrant time travel. I would suggest selling fruit, fish or Bugs and put the money in the bank. If you put certain amounts in the bank, you are awarded with prizes. These are items you can't BUY anywhere.. And they are worth HRA points in your home.

Yes, it definitely works. You get the interest at the end of every month in your mailbox. The longer you keep it in the bank, the more money you get at the end of each month. To my knowledge, it doesn't cause any weed growth.

Both of those things you mentioned are true. With Time Traveling, you get the moeny from your mom. But you also get lots of Weeds >_>.

Well you get interest in your account every month and yes you can go forward in time to get loads of money.
BUT DON'T DO IT! YOUR TOWN WILL BE RUINED! IF YOU'RE NOT THERE YOUR TOWN WILL GET LOADS OF WEEDS, THE FLOWERS WILL WILT, AND EVERYONE WILL MOVE OUT!

1. Take your Gamecard OFF your console.
2. Change time settings to somewhere you like (years).
3. Put the Gamecard back to your DS.
4. Start the game: you'll be on the year you choose. I did like this and tehre was quite much weeds (I gt 5 4-leaves) and only one had moved. I visited year 2099 and I got about 56,00 bells ( I put 10,000 bells to bank before I time-travelled). It was worth it, I just ahd to clean a little bit ^^
