Question for Animal Crossing: Wild World

Ok, I've got 2 simple questions:

1.Why do Blathers and Tom Nook have momments when they get upset about their work? Do you have to do something for them?

2.How do you become the mayor of the whole town? A friend told me you have to get every single object but does that include all the things in the muesuem, the tunes and a full big house?

The "Main" characters like Blathers and Nook just have set dates where they Trigger "past" events in thier lives. Just listen to them the first time- it's so you learn more about them!

About being Mayor? I haven't heard about that one. I would like to hear what someone else has to say. I have one bug to get, one fish, and several paintings.

All right here we go...

1. It's just part of the game you don't have to do anything but listen.
2. Your friend was lying to you. As far as I know, and I know a fair bit, you can't be the mayor.

1. Well, basically it's so you can learn more about them and their pasts.

2. I don't really think you can become mayor. That's Tortimer's job. The whole point of the game is to enjoy a stress free life not host events and run the whole town! That sounds like a smaller SimCity or something...
