Question for Animal Crossing: Wild World

I have been planting things FOREVER and Pelly says if we had more green it would help can someone tell me why she always says this

You have to plant trees, not flowers or anything like that but trees. Also trees that don't grow and stumps take away from the equation. So just keep planting trees until Pelly says it's good.

She means that no weed and nice grass(you can't change grass), just pick the weeds and plant some nice flowers. Hopefully, Pelly will be pleased. The flowers need to be watered too.

It sounds like you have plenty of trees(make sure you do if you don't). First, arrange the flowers neatly. In other words, just make big flower gardens all over your town. Next, try to plant lots of hybrids. That will help you come closer to a perfect town. Pelly also likes foreign fruit trees. Coconuts trees are the easiest. Just make sure tou plant them halfway, NOT all the way on sand.
