You find it in the shop tom nook or nook n go as it's called after it's remade for 500 bells and I surgest Fishing in the rivers first for about one day ok hope this helps

These guys have obviously forgotten about the Fishing tourney. Talk to Tornimer at the Fishing Tourney and he will give you a free fishing rod.
